This ad is for Stanger, my 1988 Mustang LX convertible.  I'm the second owner and we've owned him for nearly 30 years.  Not driven in snow/salt, no rust though there are places under the car that could use detailing.   He's a great though not perfect car.

Engine:  1996 5.8 liter, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp Extreme Energy cam, FMPP roller rockers, TrickFlow intake, ProM throttle body, etc, etc.  New dual pass radiator, new AC compressor w/professional recharge, new high flow water pump - too much to list.  I have the cam card and a pile of receipts that go with the car.  The car makes just under 300 HP on the dyno with the present conservative tune and there's plenty more with a more aggressive tune.  Shown in the pics is a Superchips tuner.  Our local dyno shop no longer tunes Mustangs with this chip but if you can find a tuner there's more HP in the chip which is included.

Transmission:  Lentec AOD.  It's controlled by a B&M ratchet shifter, not my favorite but the only one available that fit the console.  Driveshaft is a FMPP aluminum w/safety loop.

Rear axle assembly is from a 1986 SVO which yields rear disc brakes and a 3:55 gear ratio.  Parking brake works properly.  Outer axle bearings/seals have less than 5,000 miles.

Exhaust:  DynoMax and gives a nice tone w/o too much volume.

Tires and rims: New about 3 years ago and the car is almost always stored inside so no sun deterioration.  

Stanger has a powder coated Maximum Motorsports 6 point roll bar w/removable side bars which were removed in the pics.  The bar was converted to an 8 point as I picked up the original upper seat belt mounts for extra structure.  Note the safety harnesses.  Also fitted is the complete Maximum Motorsports rear suspension including lower control arms and Panhard bar to locate the rear axle side to side.  Handing is excellent though the suspension does make a rattle from time to time.

The car as shown has not been detailed as I sometimes drive him.   It shows well but the paint is about 29 years old..  Interior is in good condition - no rips, tears, or stains.   The top is new (7/25) and at that time we replaced the top frame due to a broken side bow.   The top tonneau cover is original and included.

Stanger 1988 LX/5.8 Convertible

If you recently boosted or want to boost your fox but don't have the scratch to get a stand alone ECU, this package is for you.  Included is the Boost Timing master to safely pull timing from the factory computer based on boost reference (upgraded version where you can control your start point) a set of red top 30lb/hr injectors, a older calibrated 30lb maf, a one year old vortech FMU  that will boost reference fuel pressure, and a massive PMAS 95mm calibrated MAF+ filter for 72lb injectors (if you want to run e85, 72lb injectors not included). Boost Fuel Package

1978 Mercury Zephyr, has a 1989 Mustang driveline in  it, rear end recently rebuilt with all new bearing and seals, new trac lock with 3:73's, SVE 17in wheels, BMR front/rear tubular suspension. Everything works as it should except the gas gage, has the 89 dash as well. Very Nice cruiser/cars N Coffee car. Drive it anywhere.

Four eye console

Very solid and good survivor. I’ve owned the car since 2021 and I’ve put around 3k miles on it. Stock 5.0 5 speed with 3.73 gears and flow master mufflers with weld in h pipe. Fiberglass cowl induction hood.  New wheels and tires, headlights and taillights, window tint. Interior is good but could use a little cleaning. Paint job is fairly new but not a great one. Drivers side fender has a little bow. A few paint chips on the front clip. Originally a wild strawberry car.  Headliner is bad, speedometer needs replacing or rebuild, and ac doesn’t work. Short throw shifter. A lot of new parts that will be listed in one of the pics. Not a show car, but definitely not ragged or beat on. 1992 Mustang LX 5.0 hatchback

A new TMI R500 upholstery kit I picked up a few years ago, but ended up not using. Only been out of the packaging for inspection and pictures.

It's for a 90-91 Mustang hatchback with the "sport seats". Grey vinyl with black stripes. It comes with new foam for the front seats and upholstery for the front and rear seats. 

Asking $2000, but open to offers. This setup retails for just over $2500. Prefer local pickup, but willing to ship at buyer's cost.

I have here a foxbody to T56 hydraulic clutch conversion kit . It’s practically brand new , I mocked  up this kit & then sold my transmission . It will work with a SBF or coyote engine to a T 56 transmission. Comes with Tilton 6000 hydraulic throw out bearing , Malwood under dash hydraulic master cylinder kit(manual trans ) , clutch pedal , billet resevior , -3 to -4 AN male to male adapters & instructions. 1991 Mustang GT 5.0 5 speed

1993 mustang (4cyl auto originally) theft recovered title in AZ. Was building a drag car. Fresh paint, rebuilt 429, still need a lot of parts to finish. What you see is what I have for it. The list in the pics is what I paid for all the parts, labor was not listed. C6 trans but need a new case as someone tried to fix a crack in the bell houseing but i was tald it was rebuilt. Have the original 4cyl wire harness. I have 8k in parts invested, will consider trades of equal value.
